9-24-2012 DB's Dailies: Aukai,Kolohe,Duke&Nani@RI, Irma&Buster@SB, M&M,RIP&Kermit@WP, Kermit@NIM, Right Spot@Sunset,Kekoa

At 0530 I found Irma (R010) waiting for me right where she had been last night. We redid the cordon. At 1144 Gayle would call with the news that Buster (RV08) was now with her. A witness said he arrived at 1130. Of course ,I had left Irma at 1115 for a short break ! They would remain there together though the rest of the day. I had to make an airport run at 1730, to pick up Missus W, but Gayle reported that Buster had departed at 1813, and surprisingly, Irma departed at 1843. I hope this signals the end of her molting behavior mode, but as you all know, Only Irma Knows !! It was fascinating to watch her progress from 60% molted at the beginning of the day and leave her at 85% at the end of the day.
I'm very happy to report that Buster appears to have rid himself of his right fore flipper pit, hook & line, on his own.

I didn't get to spend a lot of time with the Rabbit Island crew today, but I was happy to find Kolohe (RW22), Duke (RA12), and Nani (RK60) at in the Morning Glory at the log, 40 ft left of 1BS on RI, at 0910. On a pan at 0951 I found Aukai (RL12) at Rocky Right Beach.

Team Billand checked in at 0726 with the report of M&M at White Plains, with Kermit (R012) and RIP (RR70) battling one another for her attention. Referee Barbara gave all rounds to Kermit. RIP would depart at 0840. Though Kermit won the battle, he lost the war. M&M wanted nothing to do with him and he too departed at 0940. Kermit would haul out again fronting #1705 Nimitz Cottages at 1016.

Dera called at 0844 with the report of what would proved to be Rocky (RH58), at 2E in Waikiki. I'm uncertain who all may have been involved but I know Stephen and Alice were there. Thank you..........very much. Rocky would thankfully depart at 1000.

Dera called at 1641 to advise that Heather Brown had ID'd Right Spot (R016) at Sunset Beach, and that she had entered the water at 1642. Volunteer Robin, reported that Right Spot had hauled out to the same location at 1647.

Lastly, Dera advised that Reef Runway posse member Eileen had called a 1751 to report Kekoa (RK72) at the RR, and that his molt was nearly done with just a bit left on his head. Photos would be of invaluable help in documenting this, but alas there are none.

Check da' blog in the morning for the Billand's day.
