9-7-2012 DB's Dailies

It was "Deja Vu all over again" as Yogi would say. At 0640 I found Duke (RA12) at Right Middle Cliff, and Kolohe (RW22) in the vegetation at Seal Rock Inlet on Rabbit Island. Both would move down to cool off mid morning, and would remain all day.

At 0921 I found Aukai (RL12) at the Waimanalo end of Left Point Beach, on RI. She too would remain the rest of the day.

At 1136 on a Lanai Lookout check I lucked out and chanced to see Buster (RV08) do a "drive by" to Kaiwi's hangout at LL. not finding Kaiwi, he never hauled out but investigated the area for several minutes, and then continued his adventure. I did not see him again after that brief visit.

Team Billand called at 0614 with the report of Pohaku (RO28) at Nanakai Beach, Maili. Charles' gang was notified and attempted a Critter Cam capture, but Pohaku won the day, making it abundantly clear that wasn't goin' for that. The mission was aborted at 0830. Pohaku departed but the Billands found her again at Maili Point at 1208.

Zeeny was doing RL42 duty today, and while there reported (Mom) R912 down the beach aways. at 0812. Zeeny would check in again at 1505 with the report of an U/U just arriving to R912's location . It is dumping rain and though she thought it was a male, viewing difficulties make that a question mark. Awaiting photos.

Vera Cober checked in at 0826 to report T21M at Iroquois Point, She would call again at 0848 to advise that he had departed. It would become a 3 Vera day, when she called back at 1408 to report that T21M had returned to IRQ.

Dera called at 1042 with a non Eileen, Reef Runway security report of an animal at the Reef Runway. At 1100 the Kekoa (RK72) was confirmed.

Diane "Diga" Gabriel called at 1448 reporting a happy and healthy R5AY & Pup at Turtle Bay (D#13), and also brought news of La'akea (RK82) on the TB side of Kahuku Point, and a 20% molted Right Spot on the Kahuku side of Kahuku Pt.

To my horror I realized just milliseconds after hitting the "Send" key that I'd neglected to add a sentence confirming that the male visitor to R912 at Mokuleia today, was in fact Temp 410. He is the male that we've been seeing of late at Ka'ena Point, and with R912 at Mokuleia.
