9-6-2012 DB's Dailies: Aukai,Duke&Kolohe@RI, Buster@LL, T21M&Rocky@IRQ, Buster&Benny@NIM

At 0640 I found Duke (RA12) at Right Middle Cliff, and Kolohe (RW22) at the vegetation line behind Seal Rock Inlet on Rabbit Island. Both would move down to cool off, and remained all day.

When I got back to Makai Pier at 1022 I found that Aukai (RL12) had joined the cast, snoozin' at the Waimanalo end of Left Point Beach, RI. She too would remain the rest of the day.

At 0903 posse member Teri called with the report of an animal she could not identify, foraging, and in travel mode, for the roadside pull off just east of Lanai Lookout. I was at Blowhole, and she said it was headed my way. Teri later reported that the animal had turned and moved more west. Gayle would call to advise that Buster (RV08) had made a brief appearance at the cove at Lanai Lookout at 1030, but finding no Kaiwi, moved back to the water. Gayle had only one chance to get a single shot, but the top of the "N" is visible on the left side confirming the Buster ID.

At 0611 Team Billand checked in to advise that Clay Gates had reported T21M at Iroquois Point.

At 0845 Team Billand would report RI37 at Tracks.

At 0926 the Billands found Kermit (R012) fronting 1705, Nimitz Cottages.

At 0927 Benny (RE74) hauled out to join Kermit and of course they immediately had words. Both would depart at 1044. Kermit would haul out again fronting 1778 Nimitz Cottages. Benny would continue on and stop to investigate fishermen at the 1813 Pavilion Nimitz, but then continued on toward the west.

At 1400 Vera Cober called with the report of Rocky (RH58) at Iroquois Point, well away from T21M.

Here comes a great series of photos... that just PROVES Benny is a bad bad boy. Kermit resting minding his own business
Benny hauls out grumbling and wakes Kermit
And the fun begins!! poor Kermit needs to jump up from a peaceful position
Let's see who has the bigger mouth
Benny I think is a winner.... If you get a chance expand this picture... and look into Benny's big mouth. You can see how his throat is open... nice shot Team Billand
Bickering continues.
