Posse pal Vicki finally broke her streak of batting zero. Today she was on the North Shore, she first came across RI37 Ipo chilling out in Hauula. And if that wasn't good enough along came Mama R5AY Honey Girl. I would say that was a pretty good day, but it wasn't over for Vicki. She later came across grandson RG40 Holokai. Three generations of Hawaiian monk seals in one day.
Team Billand hit up Maili early and found Kekoa Alii RK72 and RW22 Kolohe sleeping peacefully on the rocks. The two were there together all day. Meanwhile RW02 PvKauai was resting alone mid rock and he too was there for the entire day.
While checking on the boys they spotted two more animals off shore, fighting and foraging. After watching them for an hour they were ID'd as RN14 and RK36 "Kauai Kolohe" they were heading west. Team Billand tried to follow but it wasn't until afternoon check they found the two resting on the rock at Guard Rail close to the homeless camp. They left to not draw attention to them.
Then on the east side posse pal Gayle found Buster at Sandy Beach. Volunteers were there today and
looked after him . Gayle left him at 18:20, Gayle is pretty sure he will overnight it since he was up by the Naupaka.
There was one critter on Rabbit Island today. Gayle found Right Spot at Irma's today. Unfortunately there was a truck and jeep speeding on the sand, this scares me to no end. Gayle also removed a christmas tree someone dumped which I am sure they were planning on burning. Good work Gayle.
