Team Billand went out super early after getting a 5:30 am call about two seals at Ko'Olina, they were on site in about 10 minutes only to find the seals left the beach. They were able to track them, lost sight and then headed towards Campbells.
They spotted both seals entering the area, fighting and vocalizing. Pohaku (RO28) was being pursued by Da Benny (RE74). She fought back and hauled up on the rocks, he followed, both still vocalizing.
Once they were both up on the rocks things settled down, and Benny kept one eye open watching her every move.
Ka'ale (RH32) once again was at Kahe. He's very green, hookless and resting peacefully.
Team Billand's last find for the day was RL42 at Makua Cliffs looking healthy and beautiful in her new coat. Other than getting splashed by a wave she snoozed the day away.
Both Gayle and Tony captured Rocky (RH58) and Kaimana (PO3). Gayle sent some cute videos of mom and pup having some water time. For sure Kaimana is changing, her muzzle is changing to grey, and her coat has a reddish brown tint. She is starting to look like a tick ready to burst. (okay she's much cuter than a tick but you get the picture).
Gayle also went back to the eastside this afternoon and took a peek at Rabbit Island. One UU on island.
