At 7:19 am Team Billand were at Paradise Cove and spotted a seal coming in, unfortunately there were people in the water and did not heed to their pleas to give the seal some room. The seal did haul out all the way to the left corner. They called the hotline, placed signs and continued to ask people to stand back. They ID'd this animal as RN14.
At 8:00 am RN14 galumphed to the water edge entered the water, he gave a healthy bellow left going towards Waianae direction.
At 8:30 am RN14 hauls up on rocks at Kahe! Good job Team Billand aka Seal Trackers. They rechecked on him at 1:55 om he was in his water hole in snooze mode.
Team Billand also reported two U/U at Campbells doing 6 minute dives. They watched for an hour or so and were unable to get an ID.
Posse pal Gayle found Right Spot at Kaupo Beach, she was on the rocks until 13:45 when the tide started to come up and then she moved further down the beach.
Since school has started there are fewer people, but Right Spot decided to haul out right next to some people and basically booted them from their spot. She left at 19:20.
Tony sent a couple of Rocky and Kaimana shots from Wednesday 8/9 and from this afternoon. Should be any day now that Momma Rocky will be heading off to get some needed nourishment,
