At 0900 what would prove to be RM38 hauled out at 1BS and began galumphing toward Sadie&Pup. At about 25 ft she just said No, and RM38 made a quick turn back toward the water and departed. He would haul out a few minutes later at 3BS, where he remained the rest of the day.
Marilyn checked in at 0816 with the report of what would prove to be Cass (RG06) at Spitting Cave. At 1002 Marilyn found Kaiwi (RK96) at the Kokee Flats. Kaiwi was still there on Melanie’s afternoon shift, at 1239.
To my complete shock, on a pan at 1248 I found RG32 just moving out of the tall grass behind Seal Rock Inlet on RI. I’d had no clue at all that he was there. He would move down and depart at 1323.
At 0732 Team Billand reported Pohaku (RO28) for the first time in a very long time, hauled out at Wind Sock. She would depart at 0745.
At 0811 the Billands again found her foraging . This time off shore of the Nimitz Jetty. She swam off toward the west. Again they found her foraging off shore of CIP in the afternoon.
DanaMail at 1609 brought word and photos of Holokai (RG40) at Turtle Bay, from Christine VanMeter, and shots of RW02 at Ka’en Point from Alan .
At 1728 Jack(At the Bay) called to advise that they had a “drive by”,by an U/U at Hanauma Bay just minutes before the call. No further info.
