At 0812 I found RG32 newly hauled out of Seal Rock Inlet on RI.
Gayle called on her way home from her shift in the mine, at 1041, bringing the surprising news that she was with Right Spot (R016) at “Cockroach Cove”, Kaupo Beach Park. I had not been able see her from from perch so I was unaware. I hurried down and put up the SPZ. I picked up the rope at 1930. Right Spot remains.
As I was finishing up posse member Ethel called from Hanauma Bay at 1114, reporting an animal on the rock flats on the left hand side of the bay. When I got down there I found Buster (RV08).
At 1212 I stopped at Lanai Lookout and found Kolohe (RW22) on the left side flats.
Gayle called at 1157, reporting Kaiwi (RK96) once again at the Kokee Flats.
At 1218 Gayle checked in again with the report of Cass (RG06) at Spitting Cave.
Team Billand found RIP (RR70) at Maili Point. When they returned at 1045 they discovered that RIP was gone, however Kekoa (RK72) was now there.
Tammy T & Dave did the End of the World trek today. She mentioned rain in her report. They found Ka’ena (RO40) at the Runway, and RW02 at the Main Pool.
Lesley M., called at 1655 advising that she had R8HY & a chunky Nihoa (R912) 200 ft away at Mokuleia.
Christian Young called at 1815 with the report of an animal in the trough at Magic Island. His photos confirm the Rocky (RH58) ID.
