5/2/2016 DB's Dailies: Sadie&Pup(D#5),&Kainoa@Rabbit Island, Cass@Spitting Cave, Aukai&Kekoa@Nanakuli, Pohaku@Nanakuli, Kekoa@Maili Point, Holokai@Turtle Bay,

At 0705 I found Sadie & Pup (RB12)(D#5) at the far left end of the beach, where they remained all day. The kid was ranging away from Mom to rolling the shore break, with Mom watching closing but not participating. The kid got rolled a few times but there was nothing dangerous about the experiences. Other than that it was snooze & feed.

 At 1007 Kainoa (RN04) hauled out to the water front rocks of Seal Rock Inlet.

 At 1510 Todd&Darlene called to advise that they were with Cass (RG06) at Spitting Cave. This was their last official act before departing for Manitoba. See Ya’ next April guys !!

 At 0625 Team Billand reported 2 foragers off shore of Nanakuli. They would later confirm the Aukai (RL12) & Kekoa (RK72) ID.

 At 0940 they reported seeing somebody down the way on the beach at Nanakuli. This was supported with an Ocean Safety call at 0943. When they arrived at 0957 they confirmed the Pohaku (RO28) ID . She would depart at 1130.

 At 1427 the Billands reported that Kekoa (RK73) hauled out to Maili Point.

 An 1805 text from Diane Terai advised that she was with Holokai (RG40) at the Elbow, Turtle Bay. When Diane departed in the dark, Holokai was still there.
