On that occasion Kolohe later showed upat Spitting Cave. I’ve got an opinion, of course. More later.
At 0910 on my 2nd Rabbit Island look, I found Sadie (RB12) , and Aukai (RL12) at the far left end of the beach, and Kainoa (RN04, 30 ft left of 1BS.
At 0915 I became aware of what would prove to be Pua (RF34) in the shore break fronting the left end animals. Though the day she would haul out multiple times with the rest of the gang.
At 1055 Kolohe (RW22) hauled out to join the gang. I’ve got a cat on him being the BH animal this morning, but ????
The Billands........ Yes ! They are back, called at 1543 to advise that they had found Benny (RE74) and Pohaku (RO28) together at Makau Cliffs. The significance of that is that Pohaku just weaned her male pup, PK2 on Kauai yesteday, and already she is back home. (See Gary Langley’s PK2's weaner shots from yesterday). YEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH! oops sorry, I just happy to hear they're back.
At 1616 during a conversation with Tracy , she advised that Mark had been to Ka’ena Point on a bleaching mission yesterday. He got Ka’ena (N9), Kerby (N8), and RL42 (N20). Photos will follow.
At 1635 Team Billand reported RIP (RR70) and Nihoa (R912) at LahiLahi, Makaha.
At 1645 Kimo Smith called to advise that he’d seen Luana (RN58) at the birth beach, Mokuleia, RK36 & M&M (R020) at the Main Pool, Temp402 at the Runway, and Ka’ena (RO40) at Ka’ena’s Pool .

On Tuesday I tagged along with Mark S. to do the Ka'ena Pt monitoring and bleaching mission.
I shared the photos and report for the blog - sorry for some reason they didn't make it
Aloha, Lesley
