At 0600 I found Irma (R010) still at the base of the hill at Makapuu Beach. I cordoned her off and continued the adventure. On my 1010 recheck she was gone. Witnesses said she departed at 1000. I picked up the stuff and got back on the road.

　

At 1034 I found Kolohe (RW22) at Right Middle Cliff, Rabbit Island.

　

At 1213 Ocean Safety called with the report of an animal just hauling out to the east end of Sandy Beach. When I arrived at 1219 I found Buster (RV08) waiting for me. I cordoned him off and he remains. I picked up the rope at 1830. Buster remains.

　

Marilyn checked in from the end of the world at 1030. She advised that on the way up that she and Lesley had seen Luana at Mokuleia, and on the way back saw her playing with RK36. At the point they had seen a 100% molted RL42, and at the main pool, RW02 and Ka’ena (RO40).

　

Despite Gayle, Karen & myself trodding many a mile from the estuaries to Sandy Beach we had another Non Kea day going (he has a no show yesterday also). That all changed with a call from Cianna at 1300. She reported a call about an animal at Eternity Beach. Since I’d just roped off Buster who had been the culprit of late, I responded with many a question in my mind. Arriving at the Blowhole Lookout at 1309 one of my cop posse was waiting for me asking if I was responding to the "people harassing a seal" call they had gotten. I gave him a generic yes, and went to check the beach. Thankfully, the animal was gone, having been run off by the adoring hordes as they ALWAYS are at that location . 100% of the witnesses I spoke with said they same thing. "It had an N46 on its back ). Kea (RN46) has extended his world by a mile or so to the west. The day wasn’t over yet. Marilyn called at 1717 to advise that she was watching Kea in the water , once again at Eternity Beach. People were directly above him taking shots and loving the moment. He would head out of the cove, and Marilyn and Gayle lost him.

At 1800 Gayle called to advise that she had gotten a report of Kea hauling out to check out Buster at Sandy Beach. He was gone when I arrived. He apparently came, looked and left heading in a east direction . Gayle , Teri and I searched until dark but found nothing. I went back to deal with Buster.

　

At 1427 Team Billand reported Kerby (RW08) at Maili Point.

　

At 1452 they reported Pohaku (RO28) at Electric Beach.
