5-10-2013 DB's Dailies: Kainoa@RI, Kaiwi@SC, Buster@WSK,KCG&NIM, Right Spot@V-land

Kainoa (RN04) was, once again, the one and only non-winged resident of Rabbit Island. It would be 1102 before I finally saw the chubby dude at the far left end of RI.

Gayle reported Kaiwi (RK96) at Spitting Cave, at 0753. She was gone on my 1230 recheck. Multiple checks of Lanai Lookout and Buster Flats were also a bust.

Team Billand reported Buster (RV08) at Wind Sock, at 0730. He would relocated to "Al's Bench", Kalaeloa Campground at 0826, and to Nimitz Cottages at 1330. He was last seen back in the water and headed west.

Dera called at 0940 to advise that Right Spot (R016) had been sighted at V-land from 0626 until 0711.

Just in case you've missed the news, RI37 and Pohaku (RO28) have both been seen on Kauai. That is definitely good news. Good news that Pohaku isn't going to birth at KoOlina but let's hope she picks a good spot on Kauai.... Hopefully the Kauai gang has been informed to keep an eye on her and to let us know when she pups!!! We want pictures!
