10-21-11 Ode to Kermit and Irma

Aloha good people;
Well yes it's true Irma and Kermit reunited today at Irma's..... Now some of you may think this is just silly, BUT many of us loyal monk seal fans have been rooting for them for a while now. When I first started volunteering I was always amazed as to how Kermit and Irma would always find each other and hang out together. It is unusual for monk seals to stay with the same "partner" but for Irma and Kermit it seemed normal.... until.... BENNY!  The last couple of years Mr. Benny has pushed himself between them, to the point where he and Kermit would have some rock'em sock'em battles... and Kermit being the gentle one, would back off.... 


Well thanks to Zeenat, she captured a couple of clips from Kermit and Irma's reunion.... Come on.... admit it, they belong together.... there is a sweetness between them....  Thank you Zeenat, for the clips.


(and for all the NOAA folks... I know we're not suppose to "humanize" them... so I will apologize.... but there are times, when we can't help ourselves.)
