I looked at Lesley's shots this morning (10-20-10) and ID'd the Kahuku animal as Right Spot, and the Hauula animal as KC. DB
SHAME ON ME!!!! I had KC up there and then I took it down, don't know why. I heard the whisper the fishing line scar is KC... I doubled checked for cookie cutter but couldn't find two, so I second guessed myself.. darn it!
Oh well obviously I still have alot to learn.
Is KC a male or female? Just asking for those of us who aren't sealers and are just recently educating our selves on these beautiful animals.
KC is female. Diane G.
The name KC originally stood for Kaaawa Critter... now its just KC and yes she is a female and a good momma too. She pupped on Oahu in 2008 and Kolohe who hangs out on Rabbit Island quite a bit is her kid (male).
