6-9-2012 DB's Dailies

When the day began M&M was nowhere to be found. I spent the whole day stressin' but on my 1415, round #3 recheck of Rabbit Island therrrrre she was, at the far left end of the island. Hopefully, there will good news tomorrow. Stay tuned.

At 0620 I would find what proved to be Sadie (RB12) on the beach front incline, 1BS, Rabbit Island.

At 1024 she would be joined briefly by Kolohe (RW22) . After an exchange of words, Kolohe would do a slow, macho roll back to the water at 1041.

At 0748 I found Kaiwi (RK96) doing 6 minute dives at Spitting Cave.

The Billands found Benny (RE74) fronting the Disney Hotel at KoOlina. He would depart at 0839.

Benny would haul out again at Secret Beach, KoOlina at 0909. He would depart at 1630.

Team Billand found Kerby (RW08) at Maili Point at 0909.

At around 1400 he would be joined by Noa (R6FI).

At 0940 Dera called with the report of an animal in Hauula. Dana advised that Diane Gabriel was there at 1204. The animal departed at 1630. DIGA just couldn't get a useful angle on the critter, and the photos are inconclusive. I'd still put a cat on R5AY but ?????

At 1029 Team Billand advised that Pohaku (RO28) was reported by cops , by tags at Makaha.

Marilyn did the Ka'ena Point trek today, and found Ka'ena (RO40), and big brother RIP (RR70) at the end of the world.
