Kermit @ White Plains captured by Jan Dill
I had a great pleasure of meeting Jan and Gerry last evening at the "Mahalo Party" it's always great to put the faces to the names.
 Touchdown Kermit
He doesn't seem to care - once Team Billand arrives
 Irma @ Ewa Beach
 Hello Big MOMMA
M+M @ Ewa Beach doing her crunches
Oh momma  - Ewa Beach was pregnant momma beach!
 RO28 @ Nanakuli
RO28 next to this bathing beauty....
 thank goodness he left -
2AW posing for the money shot
2AW @ Tracks
There are way too many things about this that are disturbing - the most is T15M just laying just behind this scene
Not like this guy needs any of this BS
This car sunk in the sand.... too bad
This is why you shouldn't DRIVE on the beach!

Yesterday was one of those days, we had six animals to care for. Thanks to Jan and Gerry Dill for taking a watch at Plains for us with Kermit.
We had three separate Perimeters set up at miles apart. We just kept going from site to site, checking on things.

Kermit decided to stay over night at Plains, next to the showers..not a good spot, but he stayed till 3pm yesterday.

Irma and M and M were chilling at Ewa Beach locations. With Irma we had a call, but for M and M no one called us and we just found her from a far. An angel put out four signs for her, THANK YOU.

Next call was from Nanakuli Depot Beach with the lovely, R028. She was hiding near the rocks, but she galumphed higher up, making her visible. She was visited by large, fat pitbulls. Not a site we like to see, but, thankfully both owners took the dogs away. She was still there on our 3rd check at 5:30pm. Hope she was ok, AFTER WE LEFT.

Now the two elder seals, 2AW, who is quite large and fat, with T15M, who chose a westerly site, were at Tracks. 2AW was gone on our 3rd check. He had lots of surfers and beach goers to deal with so we educated best we could.
As for T15M, I sort of found him on a pan to the west side. I saw the vehicle , folks out of the car and then I saw what looked like a seal from 1/4 mile away. I ran all the way down, got to the site, it WAS A SEAL...T15M directly behind the SUV. I saw him galump away from the vehicle westerly. Apparently he was there, this suv decided to drive on the sand. They must have spooked T15M, who entered the water to get out of the way. And then when I spotted him, was on his way back to his same wallow to rest. NOT A GOOD THING..that SUV could have run over T15M...Oh my gosh.Aint it illegal to off road on beaches????? And that vehicle wasnt the ONLY ONE DRIVING ON THE BEACH..THERE WERE FOUR MORE 4 x 4's on the Honolulu side of Tracks doing the same thing. NOT GOOD!!! I hope these guys get caught soon. It could be a disaster coming.
