Aloha good people...
I caught on this evenings news KITV that Ho'ailona aka KP2 will be returning back home at the end of October.... His new home will be the Waikiki Aquarium..... I also heard earlier today there was an article in Thursdays Honolulu Star.
I tried to find a link to any of the stories... but no luck. So stay tuned... our boy is coming home.

HOORAY!!!!!! I think of KP2, HO Ailona, every day, speak of him, almost all the time. I cant wait to see him, all growed up. He made us aware of all kinds of things in a seals daily life. He is one of the smartest seals, full of mischief, sweetness, and to think his MOMMA gave him up!! Her mistake, our gain. Oh my gosh, I cant wait to see this kid again. I got so many photos of him, which I gaze at all the time, just to feel his spirit. He gave me hope when I had GIVEN UP. Zippity DO DA!!! I am thrilled he'll be back, back HOME. FLIPPER HUGS, HOAILONA....Love you!!!! Hey, you guys remember his ZEN GARDEN???? HE. HE. And how he loved his TAKO??? I can hear his plop plop, the sounds he used to do at Kaneohe Marine Corp Base in his pen. I can see him throwing a temper tantrum, when his meals were late. I can see him,right now, leaning to one side, watching US, through all the palm fronds in the fence...he was a smart one...and how he would snuggle up to the fence rolled up on shore, snoozing his heart away. Oh, Rob and i will be waiting to see, OUR KP2!!!! BAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
