Marilyn viewed Rabbit Island from 12:31 to 2:08 pm and there were three seals seen during that time.
Initially near LPB channel was an Adult Male that moved along the shore in a Makapuu direction and briefly stopped to check out Seal Rock before moving further along. He later hauled out near the 2BS. The Adult Male was adult size, darker coat, male belly and at least one tag. see even the seals get confused by seal rock 😏
R7AF: adult size, darker coat with N61 applied bleach. He's the same seal Marilyn saw on 4/4 and 4/5. His bleach is hard to read, but now she has no doubt it was him.
Next to him was RK24 Bruno: adult size, male belly, two red tags, applied N33 bleach on his right side and scar on right rear side. After she took down the camera he did a quick roll over and Marilyn saw his male belly and two red tags. She hasn't seen him on Rabbit Island for a while.
Team R&B started their day on the west side and their first find was RM31 Kai. He was alone at the edge of the zen area, resting.
Then they saw Miss Kala RH76 way to the front. She was hidden that they almost missed her. She is looking quite healthy these days.
While checking out another area they saw four Boobies resting on ablock. There were a couple of fishermen that moved to the block and all the birds left. Team R&B watched and the Boobies were busy catching fish. Then they saw one of the fishermen holding a Boobie that had been hooked. He pulled this fish out of its mouth, and the other guy had pliers. Hopefully they got the hook. The bird sat in the water cleaning itself, took small
flights and landed. Hopefully he'll be okay.

Still on the west side they found a good size male, but they couldn't make an ID. They tried but he wasn't cooperative and didn't move. They couldn't see anything, couldn't tell if he had tags. He was reported as an Unknown Male.
Lastly they decided to check out plains. They walked the beach and didn't see any seals. Then they headed to the right and there on shore was a seal. It was the lovely Miss Lei Ola RH48. She is looking quite large these days and has a mint green snout. They were happy to see her today.
