Marilyn viewed Rabbit Island from 12:55 to 2:48 pm and there were seven seals seen during that time.
Near the 1BS side of :PB was MO3 and her pup PO3. Both seem to be doing well. Marilyn saw two nursing sessions, but no swim session. She may have seen the applied "3" bleach on the right side of PO3.
About 60 feet Makapuu of the 3BS was RF34 Pua and her pup PO5. Marilyn did not see much of the pup today and didn't see any nursing sessions. The pup came around mom for a short while but then moved behind her again. PO5 is two weeks old today.
About 50 feet further in the Makapuu direction was RK38 Hali'a. Once again RK38 made it difficult for her pup PO4 to nurse. First the pup climbed up from behind to nurse. Later POO4 moved around to the front but still had to climb up mom to nurse. A red-footed booby photo bombed them in one of the photos.

Behind the rocks on the RRB side of th SRI channel was an Unknown Unknown. Marilyn only got glimpses of the seal which was mostly hidden behind the rocks. The seal did appear to vocalize which made Marilyn wondered whether there was another seal hidden behind the rocks.
Team R&B had a slow start to their seal sightings today. So they spend some time watching the boobies fishing and resting. They truly are amazing.
Finally when they made a stop at kahe they spotted a seal resting on the rocks. It was RG28 Lefty on his own. They saw his big scar on his left for flipper. Its all healed and looks good.
They returned in the afternoon and he was still there, had moved to the pond.
They headed over to plains hoping there would be more seals. They did see a seal on shore by the fence line. It was the lovely RP20 from Kauai. She was alone and resting peacefully.
Team R&B waited around for more seals but none came.
Finally after a month of not being able to get to the cliffs area, they ventured out. They were happy they did because there was one seal resting. It was RL42 Leia looking nice and fat. She was alone and resting peacefully. The area is still pretty quiet so it was nice not to have all the traffic. As soon as they spotted a car they left the area, so RL42 could continue her undisturbed rest.
