April 4, 2026 Saturday's Dailies

Todays dailies are brought to you by Team R&B💕  Marilyn did go to the pier today but is having technical difficulties. If she sends her update I'll post otherwise it will go into tomorrows post.

Team R&B started on the west side and initial didn't find any seals.  Then they spotted a top of a seal hiding in the rocks. They checked it out and discovered Miss Kala RH76. 

They been noticing the plovers starting to turn colors, soon they will be gone, maybe by the end of April.

Next they headed over to Kahe where they saw a big male. It was their boy Kekoa Alii RK72. He was alone and resting.

They had received several text of two seals fighting and landing at plains. Team R&B made their way over and the Access Surf folks were there and two seals on the shoreline fighting.

They identified RG32 going after RL12 Aukai. Team R&B was concerned since there were so many people on the beach.

Finally the two seals laned, furst was Aukai followed by RG32. This is only the second time they have seen him here.

The lifeguards were very cool keeping people away. They immediately put up a zone for the seals.

Then they noticed all the way to the right another seal had hauled out. It was R407 Kawika. His side was a lot quieter and he was snoozing away.

Team R&B decided to go back and recheck on RL08 who was still

there. But this time he had company. By the time they got close enough to see who the second seal was it left and RL08 moved to the right. He remained on on site alone.  They waited but never saw the second seal again.  A large shark was sighted so everyone got out of the water.

Lastly they saw a whale spouting and knowing they are going to be leaving soon.
