Yesterday I viewed Rabbit Island from Makai Pier from 11:56 am to 2:12 pm. There was some sun but lots of passing clouds and moderate winds.
There were ultimately five HMS seen during my viewing session.
On LPB was an Adult Male (AM): smaller adult size, older coat with mottled tan ventral, male belly; no info on tags. I believethis seal has an applied bleach at least on the right rear side and it is probably N61 indicating R7AF. Any guesses?
Down from the 3BS was a Sub-adult Female (SF): sub-adult size, yellow female belly and two red tags.
Between the 3BS and SRI was a Juvenile Male (JM): juvenile size, lighter male belly and two red tags.
Near SRI was a Juvenile Female (JF): larger juvenile size, older coat, yellow female belly and two red tags.
At 12:35 pm, I noticed a Sub-adult Unknown near the RRB channel: sub-adult size, no info on sex or tags but the ventral appeared lighter.
