They got word of a seal hauled out at plains. So they headed over and found the seal R3CX Nalu hauled out right in front of Access Surf.  The Access Surf folks were out there to the right. The Lifeguards were putting another set of signs out because now a second seal arrived.

The seal to the front of Access Surf was Nalu R3CX and he didn't care, just snoozing away. There were lots of people out cheering on the surfers.

The second seal was RL12 Aukai. She was very alert and kept looking around. She eventually settled

down. The lifeguards made one large zone to protect both seals from being bothered.  Someone mentioned to Team R&B that at other sites where the seals haul out, they never put out signs. 

It was a cloudy, rainy and chilly day. Too bad the skies were so grey, because Team R&B saw the whales out there.  They were able to get a couple of shots.
