February 11, 2026 Wednesday's Dailies

Marilyn was finally able to get to the pier to view Rabbit Island. She was there from 12:24 to 2:15 pm and there were four seals seen during that time.

Slightly Lanikai side of the 1BS was Adult Female 1: large adult size, presumably pregnant, chubby female belly, scar on lower neck area. She did not see tags today, but she may have them.

Almost directly fown from the 3BS were two seals:

Sub-adult Female: sub-adult size, yellow female belly and two red tags.

Juvenile Female: larger juvenile size, yellow female belly and two tags. The JF has a line scar or a bleach line on her left shoulder.

Alone near the SRI was Adult Female 2: adult size, two red tags, mottled gray female belly.

Team R&B first stop was at Mahaka where she met up with the woman who put out the signs. On shore was Temp 402 looking thin, with his rib showing. Team R&B did their best to educate the people who came out to look.

There was a turtle with a wound to its left fore flipper, two barnacles on its shell and possible crack on the right side. They called it into the hotline, hoping they would send someone out.

While still on site they saw another seal hauling out. They hurried over to find RG32. They were hoping he would stay with Temp 402.

At another west side location they found three seals. They first ID RH76 Kala, then RW02 PvKauai and

then the adorable RU12.

At Kahe they found RL20 Kalua alone and resting.

Then Team R&B decided to go check out plains. They immediately spotted a large green female with one tag, hardly readable. A wave hit the female and she put her to flippers in the air and that's when they were able to ID RH48 Lei Ola. They were so happy to see her again,

and she is looking quite large.

Then there was "two timer" R3CX Nalu was with Lei Ola and not with Aukai today. LOL. He certainly makes the rounds.

Team R&B saw a third seal further down. They went to check and it was the lovely RL12 Aukai. She was alone and resting peacefully. Maybe she's enjoying her time away from Nalu.
