Marilyn viewed Rabbit Island from 12:20 to 2:58 and there were three seals seen during that time.
At middle cliff was an Adult Female 1: latge adult size, fat, nipples protruding and two red tags. The one time showed her right side, Marilyn saw a rear scar. Marilyn thinks this may be RF34 Pua who is predicted to birth around 4/7/2024. Marilyn hasn't knowingly seen her since she gave birth and raised her pup last year.
Between 3BS and SRI was a Juvenile Female: juvenile size, tannish yellow female belly and two red tags.
Out of the rock flats next to SRI was Adult Female 2: adult size, scar above RFF, Marilyn is 95% sure this is the same adult female she saw yesterday.
Team R&B started their day at Kahe. They first got to enjoy the dolphins going to the right, left, farther out and back in, much to the delight of the many divers, snorkelers, swimmers and kayakers.
They found three seals in the area. Kaale RH32, RG32 and RL30 Kalua were hauled up.
Next stop was at the bay. The dolphins were also hanging out here as well, playing as usual. They found R407 Kawika hiding in the rocks.
At another west side location they found three seals. The first one took them a bit to get an ID, but they finally saw his tag. It was R3CU was sleeping in a pond.
In mid rocks at seal inlet was Kai RM31. Its good to see him away from electric beach.
And the last seal of the day was in a pound snoozing. There was RG28 Lefty, he was very cooperative to show them his flipper and scars.
