On their first stop they found the lovely Miss Kala RH76.  She was alone resting on the rocks, just about where she was yesterday.

At another west side location they found two seals. They first identified Lefty RG28 on lower rocks. The second one was RM31 Kai and he was to the right.

While on the road passing one of the beaches they saw a HMAR truck parked at the site. Figuring there was a seal in the area they stopped to check it out. There they found R604 was on shore with an injury to her right fore flipper. There wasn't blood just a pink smear and sand. Team R&B noted what they thought was a cc bite on the hinge/knuckle on her RFF.  There were flies already on the wound, R604 was calm and alert, acting normal.

The homeless camp is close by with lots of dogs thankfully they were tied up today.  Seemed the volunteers happen to be on the beach doing a training session when they saw the seal.  

Although the wound looks bad, R604 seemed to be fine and left the area not too long after.  We do know these mammals have an amazing ability to heal.

Last seal of the day was at Kahe. They found RL20 Kalua hauled out on the rocks. He was alone and resting peacefully.
