March 22, 2024 Fridays Dailies

Todays dailies are brought to you by Tammy, Marilyn and Team R&B💕

Tammy headed out to the point solo today. She found three seals: Kainoa RN04 with his N4 bleach, Kaipo R420 with his N11/N1 bleach and joining him was Lopaka TA68.
Tammy also noted the Albatross chicks are getting big and wandering from their nests.

Marilyn viewed Rabbit Island from 1:00 to 2:35 and there were three seal seen during that time.
Between 3BS and SRI were two seals about 30 feet apart:
Adult Female: adult size, yellowish brown coat (probably from sand), female belly and two red tags.
Juvenile Female: juvenile size, yellowish female belly and two red tags.
At SRI was a Sub-adult Male: sub-adult size, light male belly and two red tags. Marilyn thinks this is the same seal she labeled as an Unknown Subadult from yesterday.

When Team R&B arrived at Kahe they saw a woman filming the seals. They did not recognize her as anyone they had seen around. Also they caught up with a friend at the site and they were able to ID the following four male seals:  RK72 Kekoa Alii, RL20 Kalua, RG32 Lefty and RH32 Kaale.

Team R&B returned to another west side location to check on seal they weren't able to get a positive ID from earlier. This time they were surprised to find there were four seals hanging out.
RM31 Kai must have eaten something that didn't agree as he had
thrown up a very colorful yellow vile.
Then there was R3CU who they hadn't seen for quite awhile, He also had thrown up.  (hmmm the boys must have been partying a little too much - lol )
Lefty RG28 was now hanging out with R617.
