Marilyn viewed Rabbit Island from 12:45 to 2:55 and there were two seals seen during that time.

Initially the only seal was an Adult Female out on the SRI rock flats: adult size, possible pit scar above right shoulder, light gray female belly, not sure about tags. She looks robust but not ready to give birth soon. This is possibly RJ40 from Molokai, perhaps NOAA can provide some input.  The AF later moved up onto the sand.

About 12:55 Marilyn saw a seal hauling up onto the beach about 30 feet Makapuu side of the the 3BS. She believes this is a Sub-adult Female: sub-adult size, light tannish brown female belly and two red tags.

Team R&B's first sighting were multiple seals in the water. There were only able to ID one of them as R407. There were two others together, but they were not sure of their identity.

Later they spotted a seal on the rocks. It was there boy RK72 Kekoa Alii, he was alone.

They also got to watch the dolphins out and about and putting on a show.  They could see from afar a seal on shore at electric beach. Of course people were gathering checking it out. They were able to ID RM31 Kai and called the hotline to provide them the information.

Team R&B made their way over to plains to check on Aukai RL12. They spent a lot of time educating folks monk seal 101. Aukai is looking gorgeous and very large. 

Sadly there was a boy that threw a block of wood at Aukai, and thankfully missed her. Team R&B went to talk with him, first letting him know to never toss anything at a seal. He questioned, why not, that he wanted it to move and go back in the water.  (where the heck is his parents!). They spent quite awhile talking to the boy, they're just not convinced he "got it"

Heading back to the Kahe area, they found RL20 Kalua. They noted he may have a fishing line around his hind flippers, He is okay, and it looks to be a light line.

And last stop at another west side location they found one seal. The ID'd RL70 Leina, she was alone at seal inlet.
