Marilyn did the Ka'ena Point trek this morning with Lesley. Originally they only saw one seal, RW02 PvKauai on the rock in the middle of the main pool,

Then about 9:35 am RL47 Kamakana (RB12 Sadie's 2019 Rabbit Island kid) came into the pool. He and RW02 had a spat. 

At 9:42 am, R330 Squinty came noisily into the pool, nosed RL47 and later had words with RW02. R330 later left the pool.

At 10:19 RG40 Holokai looked into the main pool but never entered.

Marilyn was happy to see the Albatross chicks as well.

When Marilyn got back from her Ka'ena trek she did spend an hour checking Rabbit Island. There were no seals on island during that time.

Team R&B's first stop at a west side location they first found RM31 Kai. He was on the rocks snoozing. Then they spotted R617 alone on lower rocks.

From there they went to Kahe and the first seal up was RG32. He was alone for quite awhile. About an hour or more later RH32 Kaale arrived. Lastly RL20 Kalua came in and hauled out.

Their last find of the day was at the cliffs. When they got to area they saw folks fishing on the rocks by the seal. The seal who they ID'd as RG28 Lefty was very alert and aware of the fishers looking around. One of the guys closely passed the seal and that is when RG28 took off.
