July 17, 2023 Monday's Dailies

Todays dailies are brought to you by Marilyn and Team R&B💕

Marilyn viewed Rabbit Island from 12:38 to 3:00 and there were five seals on island.
Initially there were only two seals:
Adult Female: adult size, older coat, with yellowish-tan female belly and at least one red tag.
Adult Male: adult size, darker coat, dark gray male belly and two red tags.

At SRI was RK37 Huia: adult size, new coat, two red tags and nb on lower left side.

At 12:49 the Adult Male left LPB and went into cruiser male mode, checking out various spots as he moved in the Makapuu direction. He hauled out between 3BS and SRI at about 1:00 and galumphed over to RK37. After some brief interactions between RK27 and the Adult Male, the latter entered the SRI channel and was not seen again.

At !:53 Marilyn realized that RK37 had left SRI and she hauled out at the 1BS about 2:00 pm.

About 2:07, Marilyn realized that the Adult Female had gone into the water and at 2:12 pm she was about 50 feet of the 1BS ( assuming its the same A/F).

At 2:37 pm, an Unknown Juvenile hauled out to the A/F. Marilyn can't be sure if this seal is a juvenile or one of the weaners.  Then the A/F went back into the water with the U/J following. They both hauled out on the 1BS side of LPB which led RK37 galumphing away.
Confused?  So am I. LOL

Team R&B only find today was at the bay. There they saw the dolphins at play. They found Kai RM31 just hauling in. He is looking very healthy and is hook free.
Then they found the lovely Miss Kala RH76 in a crazy whacky position.  She was half in the pond and the other half was on the rocks.
