Team Billand are still dealing with computer issues, so their update has more to do with the photos they took. They texted me a couple of descriptions, I just hope I lined up the right photos with the right description.
It was a busy day at the outfall, there were multiple critters making it hard to keep track of who was who. The seals were fighting, swimming out to open waters then returning. This went on for two hours.
Seal # 1 Team Billand ID'd as Aukai RL12, Seal #2 RH32 Ka'ale aka butthead and seal #3 RH76 Kala.
At another west side location they came across RIP RR70 just arriving on lower rocks.
Team Billand headed out to another location where they found RL98 tagged 206 with an applied N34 bleach.
Team Billand found RL20 Kalua at yoks resting comfortably and alone.
In other observations Team Billand spotted a dolphin with a plastic bag on it's nose. She called it in and spoke to one of the NOAA folks to let them known. Hope the critter was just playing and it can free itself from it before anything bad happened.
Team Billand spotted a few fighter jets and C17 (?) flying over the west side. Perhaps they're preparing for December 7th ceremony.
