RG32 would follow Sadie in but maintained distance from her. He would haul out to the left end of the beach and join Kea near the water line for the rest of the day.
Team Billand would report RW02 & Ka’ale (RH32) at Maili at 0801. Barbara would find a foraging animal off shore of Maili at 0831, and at 0932 confirmed the R3CU ID.
Barbara got a call from friend Joanne, who sent a shot of RL42 at the 20Min mark on the west side KP trail. Barbara would respond at 1053.
At 1330 Team Billand reported Lei Ola (RH48) at Makua Cliffs.

Special thanks to Joannie and Sherry for making that call to me yesterday. It been six years since we met. We became friends while watching R4DF at Plains, these guys would help protect Makaiwi back then when she was an Oahu resident.
Both ladies saw N02, looked for my number, and made that call to me. I was shocked to hear Joannie's voice, HAPPY. THRILLED THAT SHE SAID THEY WERE taking pics of a seal with a number N02. OH MY GOD JOANNIE!!! Thats L42...WOW...I was worried about L42 since she went missing from Feb.
We immediately left , rushed home for water and shoes and I made the trek out to site.
THERE SHE IS: RL42, Bleach NO2..basking on the rocks. She looked just fine, dried up, looking AWESOME, healthy. Yeah for Joannie and Sherry, God Bless you guys.
As I was sitting on the rocks, Joannie and Sherry was on their way back from their Kaena Pt Trek. I heard Joannie, BARBARA is that you? You found the seal....I was thrilled to see both ladies. Of course I had to snap a pic of both our Seal Buds from New Mexico.
Its been along time since going out that way towards Kaena Pt...and seeing Miss L42 again, A BIG RELIEF she was still OK. Wonder where she went all those months????
God bless you girls Joannie and Sherry SPEAR!! You guys are AWESOME.
L42..glad you are ok and welcome back home. Life is special...Happy happy, Joy Joy.
