3/8/2015 DB's Dailies: Duke&UF@RI, Kea@BH, U/U@DH, Haupu@KoOlina, Benny@Nimitz Cottages, Nihoa@Maipalaoa, R5AY&PO1@Turtle Bay

At 0820, from Makai Pier, I found what would prove to be Duke (RA12) at the log, 40 ft left of 1BS, and an U/F in the Morning Glory fronting 1BS. She was the same animal as yesterday’s U/F . Both would move down mid day.

 Marilyn had done a pass through the SE quadant earlier in the day, and a Blowhole check at 1400, finding nobody, nowhere. Melanie & Gina did the SE quadrant check from 12-3, and at 1450 discovered Kea (RN46) at Blowhole Cove. Thanks guys........ Ya’ Done Good !

 At 0659 Team Billand reported Haupu (RB24) once again floating in Lagoon #3 , KoOlina.

 At 0831 they got a report of an animal at Nimitz Cottages, and at 0933 confirmed the Benny (RE74) ID. He was between #1806 & #1701.

 Petra,a UH associate of Marilyn’s, called at 1656 to advise of an animal between the showers and Beach Rd at Diamond Head. I immediately contacted Colleen. Unfortunately, there was nobody home when Colleen arrived.

 At 1735 Team Billand found Nihoa (R912) hauled out at the Maipalaoa Canal.
