3/26/2015 DB's Dailies: Kainoa@RI, Nihoa@GR, U'ilani@Reef Runway, RIP@Maili Pt, Pohaku@Nanakuli, Team Billand, U/U@Magic Island

It was shaping up to be another zero kinda’ day. Marilyn, Gayle and I were all batting zero, but at 1040 little Kainoa (RN04) saved the day but hauling out, 70 ft right of 3BS on Rabbit Island. Speaking of Kainoa, alas I was remiss in reporting his 2nd birthday on 3-13-15.

 Team Billand called at 0719 reporting Nihoa (R912) at Maili Guard Rails. This is the first time, in a long time that she hasn’t been logging in the Maipalaoa Canal.

 At 1015 the Billands found U’ilani (RN36) snoozin’ at the Reef Runway.

 At 1311 Team Billand found RIP (RR70) in his favorite hole at Maili Pt.

 Ocean Safety called at 1635 with 2 reported animals. The 1st was a U/U at Magic Island. Notified Dana and the Hotline. A DanaTxt at 1809 advised that the responder found nobody.

 The 2nd was the report of an animal at “Depots”, Nanakuli. Team Billand confirmed the Pohaku (RO28) ID at 1503.
