At 0928 what would be an U/M hauled out and moved up to join Aukai at the log. It may well have been Kekoa or Duke, but I can prove neither. U/M will have to do for today. Tomorrow ??
At 1014 RM38 hauled out and galumphed up to join Aukai & the U/M. He and the male had words but M38 was definitely in control of the situation. All would later move down.
At 1245 Gayle called with the report of Kaiwi (RK96) at China Walls. Her excellent photos confirmed the Kaiwi ID.
At 0717 Team Billand reported Haupu (RB24) still in float mode, and Benny (RE74) snoozin’ on the beach at Paradise Cove. The Billands reported Benny’s departure at 1148.
At 0911 Dana checked in with the report of Rocky (RH58) in Ewa Beach, at Access 186D.
Lesley, Petra & Marilyn did the Ka’ena Point trek. Initially they found R330 (Squinty), Ka’ena (RO40) & RW02 in the main pool. They would later haul out. Luana (RN58) would arrive a bit later and interacted with RW02.
At 1323 Team Billand checked in again. This time with RIP (RR70) at Maili Point.
Rikki Goble came thru again in the Yesterday’s News department with shots of R5AY&PO1 from her stint on Turtle Bay duty.

Many thanks to Warren and Paula, Terri and Jean for keeping a watch on Benny and Haupu.
Haupu continues her floating behavior, she dont dodge the snorklers any more. She just floats.
It makes me upset folks go right up to her, not giving her the space she may need to .. FLOAT.
Most everyone was good at PC.
It always scares me when dogs come to PC..its a very small beach..once the dog gets a whiff, they will go to the seal. Some owners are very responsible, wont bring the dog to PC if they know a seal is on shore. Thanks for being so understanding.
Another dead turtle was found per Auntie Nettie and son Russtie. What is going on out there? Been getting lots of DEAD TURTLES. Its sad. This one had no head. May have been a shark..DNLR was called and they came out. Thanks to them.
As for Benny, he was there on shore early, he was roped off. There was a photo shoot going on. The guys were thrilled, the ladies watched the seals. HA. Ha.
I wish I could do something to make Haupu RB24, FEEL BETTER. She been just floating for weeks. Its just not normal to me..she is getting algae bloom on her body..just like Makaiwi did when she was in Marina for 17 long days.
She still comes in close, then gently floats away. Everyone thinks she is a ..TURTLE.
Well, next day, Mar 15..HEY, ITS THE IDES OF MARCH!! Hope its a good day for Miss Haupu. I can not wait to see her..LAND!!!!!! She was once a beautiful female, with that sweet face. Too bad she had two dead pups, I bet they would have been ... cute. It hurts you know, it hurts to see her in this FLOATING condition every single day. We never see her eat..she just floats with the currents.
Leslie, hang in there kid, prayers to you. You did what we all wanted to do. HOPE YOU're OK.
