At 0545 we found Kea (RN46), already in the water near the 200 yd flats, and moving east. By 0622 he was off shore of the "party tree", 300 yds east of the wall, and at 0628 reached Kaiwi’s tastiest Naupaka bush, 400 yds east of the wall. He did a partial haul out at that location, but did not move up. He seemed more interested in investigating the many tide pools. This marks his furthest travels to the east. A 0748 he reentered the water and began moving back toward the west. By 0800 he was back at the 200 yd mark, and at 0817 he hauled out to the 100 yd flats, where he hauled out to his snooze rock, and did exactly that. He was still there when I was relieved. The kid slept away the rest of the day.
At 0827 Team Billand called to advise that Dennis had reported an animal at Kalaeloa Campgrounds. They would confirm the M&M (R020) ID at 1004.
At 0840 the Billands found Kolohe (RW22) at Maili Point.
Colleen checked in at 1000 with the report of Rocky (RH58) at the bunker , near her house, at Diamond Head. According to Rachel & Colleen she left for a while but returned, and is still there.
Team Billand reported Irma (R010) and Ewa Girl (RS00) at separate locations at Wind Sock. EG would depart at 1534.
Team Billand found Pohaku (RO28) at Lani’s, KoOlina at 1237.
At 1444 Team Billand reported Haupu (RB24) at Guard Rails.
