Irma was at one end near Cabins. Benny hauled up near this guy, the guy wanted to see what Benny would do. Before we could finish, "GET YOUR BUT OUT OF THERE" Benny postured, barked, and lundged at this fruitloop. Then he moved away.Dangerous!!All benny wanted was a place to rest.Well, Benny relocated to Tower 1.Lifeguards were patient, we thank them. They had to mann the other tower, until Benny moved. Benny tried to go under the tower, climb the rung. I felt sad watching this poor monk seal, find a spot to rest in peace. One volunteer arrived to help us out.Diane Gabriel, and we thank her from our hearts. Children continued to enter the perimeter, not a good thing. And in the end, Benny went right back to the Tower, with the lifeguards..still manning the tower. They worked around Benny, who wasnt happy they were near. But Mr. Benny remained at the LifeGuard tower, even after we left at 6pm. And Miss Irma was bothered by people walking in front of her alllll day long. She remained in her spot, also. I thank Tracy for listening to my call. SHe was very supportive. We didnt quite know what to do with a poor seal seeking a quiet place to rest,at the Lifeguard Tower. HE has done this couple more times this week, as if he knows the Lifeguards will keep him safe from harm.Amazing. God bless you Diane Gabriel for coming to the Plains to help with the seals. You are appreciated...that comes from my soul. Tomorrow is Sunday...what and where will Benny show up for the 10th day in a row.
Wow, such amazing photos and what a day at the beach...
