On Marilyn’s morning AD check she found Kawena (RH36) in the tide pool just east of the wall, but she was just entering the water when Marilyn departed. Nothing more was heard until a Vicki Hangai text at 1810 advising that she was watching Kawena swimming west, at AD, heading toward the wall. When Vicki left in the dark, Kawena was back in the tide pool where she started the day.For the 2nd consecutive day, Rabbit Island was Monk Seal free.

At 0606 Team Billand reported Nihoa (R912) for D#3 at Maili Guard Rails.
At 0902 they found RK36 at Maili Point.
At 1050 the Billands reported RW02 at the 20Min mark on the Waianae side KP trail.
A Diane Gabriel text at 1052 brought word of a 75% molted BG (R303) at Mokuleia, with Ka’ale (RH32) a bit further down the beach.
Lifeguard posse member , Sam reported Kaiwi (RK96) at OCC again today.
