HMMA Update from August 2nd

At 0700 a report came in about a seal hauled out at Three Tables. Seal departed at 0820 before an ID could be made.

 Karen T. check in via email from the Turtle Bay pup site with a report of Ua Maile (RT10) and PO5 on the reef at low tide. Pup nursed for about 20 minutes. As the tide rose they went into the pool and swam. They went over the reef at 1120 and battled some waves on the shelf on the west (hotel) side of the pool. After about 10 minutes they reentered the pool and swam. They hauled out at 1210 on east side of the beach. Pup nursed then they snoozed. Karen provided some belly shots on PO5. Gender is still not confirmed at this time.
