December 8, 2025 Monday's Dailies

Todays dailies are brought to you by Marilyn and Team R&B💕

Marilyn viewed Rabbit Island from 12:20 to 1:53 pm and there were three seals seen during that time.
On the 1BS side of LPB was RK24 Bruno: adult size, gray male belly, two red tags, lower lop scar, also a somewhat hazy N33 applied bleach on his right side.
Between Middle Cliff and 3BS was RU38: weaner size, older coat, light yellow belly, two red tags. Marilyn labeled this weaner as U38 but it might be RU70.
Just behind waterfront rocks between 3BS and SRI was the seal with N32 applied bleach: adult size, N32 bleach seen on left side as he turned, girdle bleach also seen. Marilyn thinks N32 is an adult male with no tags.

On Team R&B's first stop they were checking out the area with a friend. Initially there were no seals seen. They were talking about how Kala was there yesterday. Then they spotted a seal coming into the area, looked around and left to the next seal inlet. The seal hauled up
and went rolling in the pond and laid low, and they ID'd R3CX Nalu. He was probably looking for Kala.

Over at Kahe they were thrilled to find the green seal that they have been seeing foraging out by the outfall. Here he is hauled out and it is their boy Kekoa Alii RK72. He looks healthy and fat and green. Has two tags but he wasn't very cooperative in showing them. They are relieved to know the green seal they been seeing is in fact Kekoa.

Over at the outfall they saw multiple seals foraging. One of them was
RM31 Kai, another one with the cc scar which might be RL08. Then they saw a fight with a very small, young seal with a green snout. It lt looked like the one of the little seals they been seeing in the pokai area. This is not a good spot for a young seal with all the this fishing lines, nets etc.
RM31 kept picking on the small seal, Team R&B wondered if it is RU12, they saw tags but couldn't read them. RM31 needs to stop being a butthead .
