Marilyn’s morning AD check found Kawena (RH36) once again in her tide pool just east of the AD Wall. There were initial stressful moments when Marilyn arrived for the 5-7, since she couldn’t find the pup, but Kawena was eventually found, mid zone.At 0900 I found Aukai (RL12) with a brief visit from what would turn out to be Kekoa (RK72, fronting 1BS. Kekoa would enter the water and haul out again to the left end rock flats, where he would remain the rest of the day.
At 0934 on a pan I found what would turn out to be RG32 on the water front rocks of Right Middle Cliff.
Posse member Kathy called with the report of an animal at Lanai Lookout. I would later confirm Kolohe (RW22). I called Jessie at NOAA, and she dispatched Brenda & Erin on a booster vaccination mission, which they successfully accomplished at 1243. He never reacted to he shot at all.A check of the Maunalua Bay spots was zero.
At 0805 posse member Tammy T., called with the report of RIP (RR70) at Ka’ena Point.
At 0925 Tammy found RL42 on the Back Beach, KP.
On her way home she stopped off to spend quality time with Ka’ale at Mokuleia. Thank You Tammy !!!
At 0947 Team Billand called with the report of Pohaku (RO28)&Benny (RE74) together at Waikomo’s. They notified the HMMA Hotline. They would depart at 1606.At 1025 the Billands got a call from KoOlina Security about an animal at Lagoon#1. They arrived and confirmed RI37, and called the HMMA Hotline.
Diane Gabriel did a shift with Ua Malie(RT10)&PO5 at Turtle Bay today, and provided some much appreciated shots.
