At 0716 I found Kolohe (RW22) , 40 ft left of 1BS, and Aukai (RL12) at Seal Rock Inlet. Aukai was one of the small animals I was concerned about with the report of the hooking at Spitting Cave the other day. I'm happy to report that I saw nothing to indicate she was anything but a happy , healthy young girl.

At 0735 Kimo Smith reported Kaiwi (RK96) doing 6 minute dives at Spitting Cave.

At 0923 Kimo would call again with the report of what would prove to be RA36), joining Kaiwi at SC. They would depart together at 1053. Photos from today also rule out RA36 as a possible SC hooking victim.

At 1303 posse members Martine & Lloyd called to advise that 2 small animals were hauling out to the east end of Sandy Beach, at Alice's. Zeeny happened to be there, and got photo confirmation of Kaiwi & RA36. When I arrived at 1318, Kaiwi had departed. RA36 remained. I cordoned him off, and he has remained the rest of the day. I picked up the rope at 1900. RA36 remains.

Team Billand would report Pohaku (RO28) at Paradise Cove at 0834. She would depart at 1550.

At 0900 the Billands reported Makaiwi 9R4DF) at #1706, White Plains.

At 1113 the Billands reported Kermit (R012) at Kermit's Reef. Sean would get an N4 bleach on him (L&R+girdle) in the afternoon. He would depart at 1506.

At 1359 Lesley called to advise that she and Diga were doing the upper east side & north shore check today . They reported RI37 in Hauula, and R5AY at Malaekahana.

At 1637 they reported Ua Malie (RT10) and RL54 at Turtle Bay.

At 1612 Team Billand reported M&M (R020) hauling out to #1708 , White Plains. Sean got a dorsal N23 bleach on her.
