At 0702 I found what would prove to be Aukai (RL12) tucked into the base of the cliff near her favorite driftwood tree branch on Rabbit Island. She would later move down to cool off, and remained all day.
At 0741 I found Kaiwi (RK96) doing 5 minute dives at Spitting Cave. On her 0817 up she was observed eating something. She would be joined by Buster (RV08) at 0823. They were still together when I departed at 0900.
At 0909 I found Rocky (RH58) just hauling out to Irma's Grotto, Kokee Flats, Portlock.
I got back to Makai Pier at 1037 and Aukai was still the only visible RI resident. At 1156 what would prove to be Mojo (1330) hauled out to Rocky Right Beach, RI. He would remain the rest of the day.
Team Billand reported Makaiwi (R4DF) fronting #1706, White Plains at 0713. She would depart at 1739.
At 0943 they advised that Kermit (R012) had hauled out to Kermit's Reef. They had been following his foraging activities since 0915. He departed at 1929.
Colleen called at 1009 to report Irma (R010) to the right of the showers at Diamond Head. Afternoon email from Colleen advised that Irma had departed sometime prior to 1530.
Marilyn and Lesley did the Ka'ena Point trek and once again this week, found only Ka'ena (R040) at the end of the world.
Dana called at 1228 to advise that an U/U had been reported at "the elbow" Turtle Bay. Awaiting photos.
Dana called again at 1229 with the report of an U/U at Secret Beach, KoOlina. The Billands would confirm the Pohaku (RO28) ID. She would deparat at 18 something.
Dana sent photos of what I presume was Sadie (RB12) on Moku Nui yesterday. Thank you, David Biggs !. A 1620 phone conversation with Tracy confirmed that Sadie had been on the Mokes again today.
Team Billand advised of an U/U at Lagoon #3 at KoOlina, to which they were responding. A 1516 they confirmed the Benny (RE74) ID at Lagoon #3.
