Nice job Donna...perfect score.

The difference with Makaiwi and M and M...Makaiwi has a long left line scar on her left cheek. And the very large cookie on her shoulders mid section.

M and M has barely any real scars to go on. We mostly go by her size, her behaviors, the small left cheek scars on her face. She also has like a hobbie cat symbol on her mid back, that is not always visible. She is a tuff seal to id at times for us as well. Plus she dont got no tags..Makaiwi do.

2AW got those huge prop scars, HE DOES HAVE TAGS that havent been very visible lately. He also has some cookies, one under belly, one on shoulder. I love finding him, he is a very old seal and does have many spots he hides out at.

L42 the young pup...was a true cool find. It was pouring rain, visibility lousy...but I thought I saw a seal amongst the rocks in the rain. I kept passing that rock, came back to it and noticed a girdle bleach line and went...HEY thats a seal!!! Ran to the car for my umbrella, climbed down the cliff, not easy in rain and all my gear, but I managed and so glad I did. I love this little seal, and her mother 912 are extraordinary seals to me. AWESOME THRILLING FIND.

Finding Noa, also in the rain was cool as well. He was with Pohaku, at KoOlina the other day..trying to take advantage of her...thanks to Benny DA PIMP. NOA was looking mighty tuckered out on those rocks...he. he. I saw all his cigarette butts near by...he he.

And Kermit was a late find at Windsock..he was kind of grumpy, going up and down shore, rolling over etc. He may have been visited by HUMANS before we found him, footprints around him. He been foraging alot lately...he is ONE FAT DUDE!!! Love our FAT BOY!!!

Thanks to Laurie Finley for taking care of all three seals for us so we could go to the meeting in Haunama bay last night...YOU DA BESTEST LAURIE!!!!

That meeting was packed...loved the footage of M38 on Molokai..wish we could see more of our seals movements...I am not a diver so seeing the seals under water...SO COOL.

I was happy to meet so many cool volunteers and especially THE WHISPERERS!!!!

Barbara,

My son and I enjoyed going out there last night. Kermit was still there when I took his signs down(this was around 6:45). When I got back to WP, Maka was gone, but M&M was still lounging around. Maka left in the 15 or so minutes that I was gone with Kermit. I stayed dry by hanging out with the Higgins. They said they knew you. ;)

Glad all went smooth with the three seals Laurie. Thanks for being there last night.

I was told by Marlo and Rhondo of 1708, that M and M left around 10:30pm.

Thanks for taking care of Kermit at Windsock...i worried for him with the homeless there.

Oh you met the Higgins???? Cool, they are like family to us...and are always so helpful. Soon the higgins will go back home...we will miss them when they do.

This morning, Rhondo and Marlo left...they were such great folks to hang out with...they'll be back next year...
