Aloha Good People,
Yes it's true we finally have another pup for the season. R921 aka 761 gave birth sometime yesterday afternoon, and since we don't have a long history on her this is her first documented birth. Read DB's Dailies for the short history on this momma.
The response team is working to pull together a team for the initial observations. It was decided it best to work with volunteers closest to the birth area. Stay tuned for further updates as the news comes in. Dana Jones, HMSRTO response coordinator will be working with the group at the site and will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling the pup site.
Thank you to all that helped out and sending the photos. So nice to see the pictures even if we can't be there. ~da blog lady~

Many Mahalos to all the dedicated volunteers who came today to erect the pupping SPZ. Dera and Cianna were the troopers with all the pre- arranged equipment and arrived like the Calvary. The pre planning for pupping is paying off,. It does not take away from the excitement of the moment, but certainly is a less stressful situation for responders. North Shore volunteers were incredibly helpful with first response, within minutes, to get to the site. We have come a long way volunteers, your help and great support is so appreciated.
