7-22-2012 DB's Dailies: M&M,Pup (D#40)@RI, Buster@SC&KK, Benny@Lahi Lahi, Pohaku@Elec.Bch, Irma@Banyan Trees

At 0605 I found M&M (R020)& Pup (D#40) at the vegetation line, Rocky Right Beach, Rabbit Island. On my 0910 & 1231 rechecks from the Makapuu Overview they were doing water sessions within the RRB cove. They were totally invisible from Makai Pier. On the 1639 recheck Mom & Pup were doing a post feed snooze at RRB.

At 0717 we found Buster (RV08) doing 12 minute dives at Spitting Cave. He was still there when I departed at 0830.

Posse member Gayle called at 0952 to advise that Buster (RV08) was snoozin' at Irma's Grotto, Kokee Flats, Portlock.

Despite lotsa' lookin' today was Kaiwiless in the SE quadrant.

Team Billand called at 0835 with the report of Benny (RE74) at Lahi Lahi Pt, on the west side.

At 0935 they found Pohaku (RO28) at Electric Beach. She had last been seen at Larsen's on Kauai on 6-30-12.

At 1304 the Billands found "N3" (Irma, R010) leisurely foraging off shore of Banyan Tree Beach, KoOlina since approximately 1030 in the morning, doing 6 minute dives.

At 1545 Team Billand called to report that they had responded to a call of an animal hauling out at Makaha. The animal was gone when they arrived. Witness video showed the "adoring hordes" on top of the animal as it attempted to haul out. Naturally, it got the heck outta' there. No ID was possible from the video.
