12-4-11 DB Dailies

The search was on at 0630, but initially there was no Kaiwi to be found. We were hoping for another Spitting Cave adventure, but Buster (RV08) was the only SC critter today, doing 7 minute dives.

At 0845 posse member Gayle called to advise that Kaiwi (RK96) was just galumphing out of the tide pools at the east end of Crappy Cove, Sandy Beach when she and Marilyn arrived. Kaiwi moved up , and into her Naupaka. Posse member Candy said that Kaiwi moved down to the now dry tide pools at 1320 to cool off. She was still snoozin' amongst the rocks when I departed at dark.

Dana called at 0825 advising of an entanglement call at 0720 from beach clean up participants Suzanne Frazier and Dean, of B.E.A.C.H. Jeannie Martinson and David Schofield responded. The entangling rope was cut away by Schofield at 0915. Photos, courtesy of Suzanne Frazier arrived just in the nick of time, and confirm the KC (RK28) ID . At 0743

Team Billand reported Irma (R010) near the east end fence line at White Plains.

At 0845 they found Kermit (R4DG) just hauling out fronting #1706 at WP.

At 1048 Dera called with the report of a surfer seeing Kekoa (RK72) off shore of Hickam Beach.

Posse member Clay Gates reported Rocky (RH58) arriving at Iroquois Point at 1349.

Posse member Kelly Girl called at 1358 to report La'akea (RK82) at Right Spot's Spot, Turtle Bay.

Team Billand checked in at 1418 to report Pohaku (RO28) at Maili Point.
