September 28, 2026 Monday's Dailies

Todays dailies are brought to you by Marilyn and Team R&B💕

Marilyn viewed Rabbit Island from 12:06 to 1:34 pm and there were four seals seen during that time. 

Initially there were two seals on the Lanikai side of LPB: 

Recent weaner RV76; large weaner size, light female belly and two red tags.

RV50; smaller weaner size, female belly, three red tags and applied N81 bleach on left side.

There were two more seal in the middle of LPB:

Juvenile Male: weaner to juvenile size,  at least two tags and light male belly,

And Molting Adult Unknown; adult size, old coat, not sure about sec or tags, but probably male, and about 15% molted on the upper chest.

The JM moved down closer to RV76 and RV50 and then all three relocated together on the LPB. One of the three was well hidden behind the other two.

Team R&B started their day with the couple on the west side. Once again the very cute couple RM31 Kai and RJ76 Kala were together keeping each other company. The surf was high and they were still there. They remind me of  the old days with Irma and Kermit.

The surfers were out, there was a young guy trying to get to the surf, but thee waves were big. He went around got in the water and surfed/ Team R&B were a little worried for him but the best part he made it safely back to shore and gave them a big shaka.

Then they got a call of black smoke makaha side. They saw a fire and flames, thick black smoke. Thankfully someone call HFD and they put it out.

They got a text from posse pal Caril of two seals aat KoOlina, but they left since there were so many people. At Kahe Team R&B stood and watched the dolphins they spotted RL20 Kalua passing by. He never landed.

Then they got another text of a seal on shore at nimitz. They got to the area and found Mr. Kawika R407 alone and resting. While on site they spotted a wee skeleton (Halloween is around the corner)

They were thrilled to spot another seal. They couldn't tell much so they had to goo down the cliff and there on shore was Makalii R416. He was  alone resting. They hadn't seen him since RL70 passed. R517 is looking good with green on his coat.
