August 18, 2026 Tuesday's Dailies

Todays dailies are brought to you by Marilyn and Team R&B💕

Marilyn viewed Rabbit Island from 12:06 to 2:12 pm and there were five seals seen during that time.
First big news PO13 is now a weaner. Yesterday was Day 45 with Kale RH76 and PO13. She must have decided that was enough. It will be interesting to see her measurements when NOAA can get out to tag her. She slept and barely moved during Marilyn's observation. She was gone at 2:11 pm.
Between Middle Cliff and the 3BS on the waterfront rocks was a Juvenile female: juvenile size, old coat with lots of green, female belly, no info on tags.
A group of three seals was near the SRI channel:
Weaner Unknown: weaner size, at least two and possibly three tags, no info on sex.
R416 Makali'i: adult size, older coat, pit scar on shoulder of LFF, no tags, never saw ventral.
Weaner Female: weaner size, light female belly, no info on tags.

Team R&B once again spotted two seals foraging at the outfall area. Both have a lot of green on their coats. Unfortunately they were unable to get an ID on either of them.  Reported as Unknown Adult 1 and Unknown Adult 2.

They headed over to plains. They found Marvelous Marvin RT06 alone and resting.  They have fallen in love with this cutie pie.

Back on the west side they finally found a seal but couldn't get to. They tried several paths but the seal was there, so they were only able to view from afar. So they
reported another Unknown Adult. #3

When they got home they found a plumeria had bloomed in their pot. The plumeria is from a tree that was over 50 years old. It was from an old man that passed long ago, he use to say this plumeria is called the Hawaiian Flag.
