Marilyn only viewed Rabbit Island for a short time, between 11:41 am to 12:20 pm. There were six seals seen during that time.

Up from the LPB channel were RH76 Kala and PO13 who turned four weeks this past Saturday. Marilyn never got a full view of PO13 but it appears to be adding more pounds daily. Mom still looks plump and healthy.

About on-third of the way between the 1BS and the 2BS among the waterfront rocks was a Weaner Male: weaner size, light belly,probably male, and no info in the tags. The weaner was in the same position during Marilyn's viewing session.

Starting 40 feet on the Lanikai side of the SRI channel were three seals. They all moved next to the channel while Marilyn was there.

R7AF: adult size, old coat, male belly, two tags and applied N61 bleach.

Unknown Weaner: weaner size, two red tags, light belly but undetermined sex.

Sub-adult Unknown: sub-adult to small adult size, old coat with lots of green no info on tags.

The S/U was the first to move toward the LPB channel. then the weaner followed and then later R7AF. There was some interaction between between 7AF and the SU before they all went into snooze mode.

Team R&B were on the west side when they saw a couple of mocking birds.  They also found RP28 Wakea alone and resting. They watched him for a bit and realized he is hooked again. The hook is on the left side of his mouth, about a 1 1/2 inch hook that is visible, no line trailing. The last time he was hookedwas June.

Over a the outfall they spotted an Unknown Adult foraging. They could not make out any identifiable markings to help, other than an older coat with lots of green. 

They couldn't pass by the dolphins doing what they do best. They spent some time watching these amazing critters.

Next they headed over to plains and found RT06 Marvin in a big zone set up for him. They learned today that it was actually the son of  lifeguard that passed, who named him Marvin after his dad. Touching!

Marvin RT06 was chilling and resting peacefully. He had just hauled in after eating a fish just off shore.

They believe he's preparing to molt soon.
