June 2, 2026 Tuesday's Dailies

Todays dailies are brought to you by Marilyn and Team R&B💕

Marilyn viewed Rabbit Island from 12:03 to 2:00 pm and there were six seals seen during that time.
Up on LPB and partially hidden was one of the weaners, Marilyn thinks it was PO3. The weaner ultimately moved up to the berm at about 12:45 PM and then disappeared into the water. About 20 minutes later, the same seal hauled out down from the 1BS. Again Marilyn thinks it was PO3. The seal moved up to the berm and was still there when Marilyn left about 2 pm. Marilyn noted that she did
not knowingly see PO5.
In the Middle Cliff area was what Marilyn believes to be PO4. PO4 moved up between some rocks in the Middle Cliff channel area and later moved a short distance further up. The seals Allflex tag was visible.
Initially behind waterfront rocks between the 3BS and SRI channel was MO10 and her pup PO10. At one point PO10 moved a considerable distance away from Mom and then vocalized and moved back to her. Later they hauled out and moved up the beach where
PO10 continued to roll on its side and back. Marilyn saw one nursing session.
Just back of the SRI channel were an Adult Male and Sub-adult Female. They were near each other for a time, then moved nearer the water and then moved back up the beach and further apart. The AM has a light male belly and at least one red tag. The SF has an old coat with lots of green, a female belly and two red tags. The SF seems short and pudgy.

Team R&B searched the west side and had a very slow seal day. They
only saw one seal in the water and it hauled up at the zen area. It was the beautiful little RU12. They watched her come in getting hit by the waves, but she fought her way up on the rocks and went to sleep. They were pretty happy to see her and noted her white nails on the right.

To keep themselves from being bored they watched the dolphins and boobies.  Not too shabby but I know they miss all their seal buddies.
